Check who pays next with Pay Pong and Muse

Pay Pong remembers who covered each turn. Its Muse connector is designed to read one group’s next and previous payer from a private live link. The connector has been prepared for submission; availability in Muse depends on approval.

Step 1

Start your group in Pay Pong

Create a free account, name your group, add up to four people, and log who last paid. Friends can join later without losing their turns.

Step 2

Create a private live link

As the group owner, open the group and choose Get private live link. Copy this status link, not a membership invitation. It lets anyone who has it check the limited group status.

Step 3

Ask Muse when the connector is available

Choose Pay Pong in Muse and provide your link in a private conversation. Ask: Who is next to pay in this group? Or: Who paid last? Log new turns in Pay Pong so the next check uses the updated history.

Step 4

Turn off access whenever you need

Open the group’s Live group link controls and choose Turn off. The old link stops working, including in Muse. Creating a new link does not reactivate the old one.

Do I need Pay Pong Premium for Muse?

No. A private live status link is included with Free. Viewers do not need a Pay Pong account or paid plan. Any Muse account or plan requirements are separate.

What can the connector see?

Only the group name, participant first names, next and previous payer, turn count, and update date. It cannot see email addresses, bill amounts, receipts, avatars, account IDs, or payment methods.

Can Muse record a turn or pay the bill?

No. This connector is read-only. Record or correct turns in Pay Pong. Pay Pong never moves money, splits bills, or calculates debts.

What does Premium add?

Premium costs $19/year or $2.99/month. It adds unlimited groups and receipt scans, complete history, weekly reminders for groups you own, 30-day and 90-day or all-time reports, and CSV and snapshot exports. Reports and amounts stay inside the signed-in app.

How is the next payer chosen?

People with no recorded turns come first, in the group’s order. After everyone has paid, the person whose latest payment is oldest is next. Bill amounts do not affect the order.
